Southern Phoenix FC is proud to announce the rollout of its first fully unified player development pathway, bringing together boys and girls across the Junior Development League (JDL), Girls Youth League (Div 2), and Boys Youth League (Div 3) under one club banner.
Born from the amalgamation of Southern Branch (boys) and South East Phoenix (girls), the new structure allows our region’s players to progress along a clearly defined, high-quality pathway that aligns with Football NSW’s Club Standards & Benchmarking Framework .
From foundational learning in Skills Clinics, to the technical mastery of JDL, to the competitive edge of Youth League squads, players now have a home where they can grow, challenge themselves and stay connected to a consistent coaching philosophy.
Technical development at the club is guided by Football NSW principles, prioritising individual player growth, long-term learning and high-quality coaching environments backed by structured training programs and development plans .
This unified pathway is one of the first major milestones in building the Southern Phoenix identity – one that values inclusivity, professionalism and opportunity for every young footballer south of Sydney.
Registrations and trial opportunities will be announced shortly.
